The Highest Standard in Security: Teleperformance With CrowdStrike

Teleperformance - 07.01.2021

The continuous rise of digitization has created opportunities for many organizations to innovate and evolve, giving them a competitive advantage in their respective industries. New technologies have played a key role in aiding companies to boost their digital transformation efforts. And following a year of disruption brought about by the COVID-19 crisis, the need for companies to evolve with the changing demands of today’s customers has become mandatory.

As a result of the global pandemic, we are seeing traditional brick-and-mortar operations shifting to a digital environment. The pandemic has accelerated the need to implement work-at-home solutions to protect the health and well-being of employees. According to a Forbes article, the future of the workplace is already taking shape, with security playing a pivotal role in enhancing the employee experience, as well as protecting companies and organizations.

New technologies can deliver a myriad of benefits, but organizations must also recognize the security threats they can present. Cyberattacks have increased over the years, with the number of threats becoming more and more sophisticated over time. Helpnet Security reported that malware increased by 358% in 2020. The risks of working from home or having employees work through a BYOD system are abundant: rogue access to company infrastructure, using an already compromised BYOD like keylogger or other forms of surveillance, breach of corporate data, impersonation, or rogue employee activity, among many others. Because of these risks and threats to security, Teleperformance has made it an utmost priority to protect its clients and remote workers against cyberattacks or data breaches.

Together with CrowdStrike: Industry Leader in Enterprise Detection and Response

In a recent TPLive, our LinkedIn Live Webinar hosted by Teleperformance Chief Information Security Officer Jeff Schilling, we featured our partnership with CrowdStrike, one of the industry leaders in enterprise detection and response. Jeff was joined by Colin Black, Chief Operating Officer at CrowdStrike, who elaborated on CrowdStrike’s services, including Overwatch which detects intrusions, malicious activities, and security adversaries. “It’s cybersecurity at its best with artificial intelligence, and a number of services behind that are proactive and are looking after you,” he shared.

Schilling further discussed the value of Overwatch to Teleperformance’s security processes: “Overwatch is something that we leverage at Teleperformance. I call it my ‘second pair of eyes’ that is watching our environment, just in case our security professionals miss something. It’s always a great feeling to know that CrowdStrike is backing us up.”
