Embracing a Cleaner Tomorrow: TP’s Global Efforts on World Cleanup Day 2024

Every year on September 16, World Cleanup Day 2024 unites millions of individuals across the globe in a shared mission to take better care of the planet. This day aims to raise awareness of the urgent need to address waste management and sustainability, bringing together communities, volunteers, and organizations for the environment.

At TP, we believe in the power of collective action to foster positive change. As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, our teams worldwide have proudly participated in World Cleanup Day initiatives organized by worldcleanupday.org. Each year, we redefine our commitment to make a positive impact by taking care of our land, water, and wildlife. Our dedicated volunteers came together to make a tangible impact, demonstrating our shared commitment to a better world for all.

Each volunteer's contribution was vital to this inspiring movement, driving positive change and paving the way for a cleaner for future generations. World Cleanup Day empowers us all to step forward and take responsibility for the planet we call home.

Global Participation, Local Impact

World Cleanup Day became an inspiring platform for our teams in various countries to unite for a common cause. In Portugal, TP volunteers collected 80kg of trash at Praia de Algés. In the Philippines, our team took to the shores for a coastal cleanup, emphasizing the importance of preserving marine ecosystems. Our volunteers’ efforts in reducing waste were instrumental in promoting environmental stewardship within the community.

Our volunteers in Albania also joined cleanup activities, showcasing how small actions can drive significant sustainable change. In Indonesia, TP collaborated with UPT Pengolaan Kawasan Cagar Budaya Yogyakarta to contribute to developing and improving the environment in Yogyakarta. Our volunteers and the cleaning staff worked together to clean the Teras Malioboro 1 and Kraton Yogyakarta areas. TP also provided trash bins at strategic locations in Teras Malioboro 1, encouraging visitors and tourists to be more mindful of environmental cleanliness. During the activity, more than 50 kilograms of trash were collected.
