As a global Force of Good, Teleperformance remains driven by a passion to protect and preserve the planet.
Through Teleperformance’s Citizen of the Planet (COTP) initiatives, we are able to practice sustainability and continue minimizing the negative environmental impact from all over the world. Since its inception in 2008, our worldwide COTP activities have encouraged our employees to do their share in protecting the planet, spread environmental awareness, lessen carbon footprint, protect biodiversity, improve local habitat, and take part of reforestation efforts to save the forests.
To Protect and to Preserve: Tree-planting Activities
In a recent blog, we shared that we have already planted 1,000 trees in Colombia, with 2,000 more to be planted by the end of the year in Greece. We continue to fortify our efforts in spreading our reforestation efforts around the world together with One Tree Planted, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to global reforestation.
Teleperformance joined One Tree Planted to plant 500,000 trees across five world regions. We have contributed to reforestation programs in North America, Europe, Asia, and in Latin America. Through a donation page, donors can help support our reforestation efforts by donating one dollar. Every dollar donated plants a tree with One Tree Planted. With everyone’s help, we have planted a total of 508,682 trees so far, toward a greener tomorrow.

This was in 2018 – and fast forward to 2022, four years later – we are pleased to see that the tree is thriving and has fully grown! We’d like to think of this as a reminder of everyone’s efforts and generosity in taking better care of the planet. It also serves as a reminder of how rewarding it feels to continue to belong in our Teleperformance community, where everyone is driven to make a positive impact on the planet and on our communities. |
