Key Skills/Responsibilities:

  • Work cross-functionally with our internal content and creative team to develop copy, ideas, and concepts for different products and campaigns.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, going above and beyond each brief.
  • Write and edit copy for various formats and media, taking work from concept to final execution within deadlines.
  • Interacting with project teams to understand business objectives and audience demographics.
  • Bring enthusiasm, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
  • Maintain the highest editorial standards for all copy and ensure they are consistent with brand guidelines.
  • Work with the video team in creating voiceover.
  • Generate ideas, inspire teammates, give and receive feedback, and critique respectfully.
  • Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, target audience, and cultural differences.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking when developing and presenting work in internal reviews and client meetings.
  • Analyze and interpret data to determine appropriate syntax, style, and grammatical usage required for documents in English.
  • Research and stay current on the latest IT trends, news, and technologies to ensure copy is relevant and current.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and technical subject matter experts, to ensure copy aligns with project requirements.
  • Proofread and edit copy for accuracy, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Ensure all copy adheres to the internal style and tone guidelines.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, technical writing, or communications.
  • 3+ years' of experience as a copywriter, focusing on IT or technology.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong understanding of IT terminology and ability to translate technical language into easily understandable copy.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
