Participating in the UN Global Compact

The United Nations has encouraged companies to do good for people and the planet through the UN Global Compact since 2000. Since 2011, TP has been committed to aligning our strategies and operations with the program’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Together, we’re working to create a healthier planet and better future for all.

Many of our employees come from developing countries with high unemployment. Our proactive diversity, equity and inclusion policies particularly benefit women, young people and other vulnerable groups in and from these areas.

Strong economic growth fights unemployment and poverty. As a major employer in developing countries, we provide fair wages, safety, social protections and career advancement even in times of crisis.

We’ve set bold targets to further improve gender balance in our workforce. The TP Women and GenderSmart global initiatives focus on employing and promoting women at all levels.
